Star Trek: Spoiler free review

So I went and saw the new Star Trek movie on Thursday evening, and again Friday afternoon. Plain and simple, this is one of the best Trek movies yet.
As you may know, I feel that Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is the best one in the series, till now. The new J.J. Abrams Star Trek is now sharing the #1 spot as far as I am concerned.
The casting is top notch, from the incidental characters, all the way up to the top 3. One of my favorites is Karl Urban’s protrayal of Dr. Leonard McCoy, aka Bones.
This was an amazing thrill ride, from start to finish, and the refreshing reboot the series needed!

  1. I agree with you about Urban. He was great and spot on.

    As to whether this movie is as good as ST II, well, I disagree. I lacked a villain that could match Ricardo Montalban.
